We’re Recruiting – Lead Brewer
Wilde Child Brewing was established in a Leeds Garage in 2016 with the aim of producing beers that provoke you into thinking about what you’re drinking and take you on a journey based around extreme flavour. Fast forward just over 7 years and we’re now dealing with 3 Supermarkets and some of the best pubs, bars & wholesalers throughout the Country.
We have a portfolio of over 200 beers that we produce on a rotational basis over the course of the year and we do all our own packaging (cask, keg and can) in-house.
We’re looking to further increase the size of the team in early 2024 and bring a Lead Brewer on-board who can sub-manage the Brewhouse team. Reporting to the owner/head brewer, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the production and packaging of Wilde Child Beers. Besides running day-to-day production, you will mentor junior staff, be instrumental in new recipe design and contribute to product and business strategy.
You will lead and be hands-on with all aspects of production, including wort production on our 10 barrel manual brew-kit, CIP, fermentation management, quality control and packaging. You will ensure that the brewery is kept clean and well-organised, that equipment is kept in good working order – communicating effectively back to the owner/head brewer to ensure the efficient running of the Brewhouse.
