We’re recruiting – Logistics, Packaging & Warehouse Operative

We have an exciting opportunity to join our ever growing team. We’re currently looking for a hard working, loyal and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team. Since Wilde Child transitioned up to its current site in February 2018 the Company has gone from strength to strength by winning multiple awards (10 of them internationally recognised) as well as building an enviable customer base nationwide. 2021 hopes to bring new and exciting challenges with the exportation of our products and dealing with a major supermarket being an integral part of the growth of the business.

In addition to this, we welcomed the arrival of a new canning line in November which means we are now fully autonomous in terms of producing our products and getting them into small pack in a fairly short period of time. The chosen candidate will be put through some intense and rigorous training under the head brewer for the first 3 months of their probationary period.

Main duties will include (but not be limited to):

Nationwide deliveries in the company van, handle inbound deliveries, operate the forklift, stock rotation of raw materials and packaged products, picking & packing online orders, regular stock takes, support with canning runs and generally keeping the warehouse to a clean and acceptable standard.

There is also the opportunity to work at our monthly Open Day events and represent the company at external events if you wish to do so.

The following skills are desirable but not essential:

Experience of driving a van, a forklift licence, warehouse experience, stock control experience.

The following skills/attributes are essential for this position:

Be physically fit and capable of dealing with heavy loads, basic computer literacy, full clean UK driving licence, good work ethic and being a team player.

In return for your services, we offer the following:

£18,000 per annum dependent on experience (Monday-Thursday 8am til 4.30pm & Friday 8am til 4pm – working week is 38 hours and working hours will remain within the hours mentioned), 20 days holiday per annum + bank holidays (day off in lieu if we need to work them), career progression opportunities.
